Yesterday i got my first film developed and was very pleased with the outcome. I was slightly worried the photos would come out awful seeing as i only paid a small sum of money for the camera in a charity shop. Hope you are all having a fab summer holiday!

p.s. has anyone else felt that during these few days of blissful sunshine your autumn/winter wardrobe is always on your mind, coats in particular? This oversized boyfriend coat is one of my personal favourites

Today Hot Chip released their new album 'In Our Heads', the follow up to 2010's 'One Night Stand'. I recommend you listen to 'Night And Day' and 'Flutes'. 'Night And Day' is one of those foot tapping songs that makes you feel the need to break out dancing and i can imagine it being big over the summer at festivals and all. By any chance is anyone attending Lovebox festival this weekend? Some acts playing include Hot Chip, Crystal Castles, Lana Del Rey, Grace Jones and Friendly Fires

Today whilst browsing around some local charity shops i came across a Canon film camera, for £2!!
Now I'm not much of a camera nerd but i reckon it will be great to experiment with and even be a great use when i do A level photography. I look forward to seeing the end result

I know what you did last summer

I have decided i NEED this Howler t-shirt in my life

                                     La Shark

                                   The Maccabees
*Apologies for the poor quality photos

At the weekend i went to Cardiff to see The Maccabees and their support band La Shark, a band i had heard of beforehand, but never managed to see live until then. Lets just say i will be desperately trying to catch them live again, purely because their music is brilliant and the overall performance was filled with energy. As always The Maccabees put on a beautiful show.I have seen them numerous times before and i would definitely see them over and over again if i had the money
*i am also very jealous of Samuel Deschamp's Wayne's World cap
