Forever I've Known

Last night me and my friend Alice went to see The Maccabees at Gloucester Guildhall on their first leg on the tour. During the set they played some new songs from their upcoming album Given To The Wild. It was good to see the audience were enjoying themselves, especially after being grinded up against the barrier by some idiot from my old school, who clearly wasnt sober.

Lights out, words gone

Hello!
Apologies for the lack in posts, i have been rather busy lately.
At the moment i am neck high in coursework, which is drowning me. Yesterday my GCSE art group went to London to watch the Lion King and go shopping in Covent Garden. When we arrived we walked to Covent Garden and on the way we walked past one of the London Fashion Week shows. Seeing all the gorgeous models and bloggers queing up to get in made me green with envy! Anyway me and my friend Alice got bored of CG so we decided to pop on the tube to Oxford Circus. We looked around Urban Outfitters and Monki. Secretly cried though cause there were so many lovely things which i couldn't afford :( . After we returned to CG to watch the production. IT WAS AMAZING! The costumes and set designs were magical and was thoroughly enjoyed.

Hope you're all having a enjoyable week!

Life on the Nickel

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, i still haven't really got into the hang of blogging every week.
Anyway, i am extremely happy about it being the end of term and the summer holidays having arrived. For once i have actually got a pretty jam packed month. Tomorrow I'm going to Devon with my friend Rhi camping for a week. I then have Big Chill, which I'm ecstatic about seeing James Blake, Warpaint and Metronomy. I also have a trip to London coming, which i will be without a doubt going to Camden, as well as a holiday to the South of France. Pictures will follow.
Hope you all have a lovely summer!

Today is a good day

Go Yannis, it's your birthday

We gonna party like it's your birthday

Gonna sip bacardi like it's your birthday

Know we don't give a fuck, cause it's your birthday!

So this is my first post since New Years Eve, and today is a good day because it's Yannis Philappakis's birthday, a man who makes inspirational music!

Its been the easter holidays lately so i've been trying to keep myself busy. On Monday i went to see The King Blues do an instore in Cheltenham for the release of their new album 'Punk & Poetry'. My favourite songs off the album are 'headbutt' and 'the future's not what it used to be' I like their music because their lyrics are really deep and they sing about anti-politics.

Then on tuesday i went to London with my friend Lea. We went to Camden for the first time, and lets just say, we will be going back. We also went to Brick Lane and South Bank. I've got a week and a bit off still which i will be attempting to do revision and catching up with homework. Hope you are all having/had a lovely easter holiday!
